The PHP development team has released an updated version of PHP. PHP 5.3.2 contains a number of bugfixes and some security improvements.

This is the 3rd release of the PHP 5.3 series, so expect that web hosts will begin to upgrade their servers. Depending on the type of hosting account you have, the server you are using may be upgraded and begin using the new version, or you may be given the option of which version of PHP to use for your site.

AMS 3.00 is a major release, specifically targeted to improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in AMS, so the article published in AMS may rank higher in search engines and improve relevancy. AMS 3.00 incorporates a flexible and powerful SEF (Search Engine Friendly) URL, allowing the webmaster to customize the article URL.

AMS is a highly modified version of News 1.2 for XOOPS and ImpressCMS, adding features to give the webmasters a lot more control over their content while still maintaining an easy to understand and use interface. AMS is highly scalable, geared towards performance, is well suited to large article repositories that attract high amounts of users.

Matt Farina and Rob Feature, the 'geeks' of the Geeks & God podcast, have passed on the torch to a new crew and the podcast is back on the air!

4 months ago, Matt and Rob announced their last episode for the foreseeable future as they went on to start a new adventure. This left a gaping hole in the Christian tech podcast lineup and many hoped it wouldn't end. Well, a few devout individuals stepped up and did more than hope - the moderators at the Geeks & God website are now in the driver's seat and new episodes are beginning to air.

The PHP developers have released another update to the 5.2 series, addressing several bugs and some security patches. In all, there were over 40 fixes included in this release.

The XOOPS developers released 2 more upgrades to the 2.4.x series, moving quickly to a final release on both 2.4.3 and 2.4.4. They continue to patch bugs reported in the the 2.4.x series and some of the fixes include security updates. If are running an earlier version of 2.4, it is recommended you update to 2.4.4
